"Ye are of your father..."

When you fish without following Jesus, you make a proselyte; a collective of proselytes is a denomination that wears the name of the person whose teachings they embrace.

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves." - Matthew 23:15

When you follow Jesus' teachings, fishing, you make disciples; a collective of disciples is a  local church that wears the name of the person whose teachings they embrace.

"While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, 'Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men'." - Matthew 4:18-19

Luke 6:40 – "the disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master."
