"FREEDOM"

FREEDOM
It isn’t the right to do as you will, but the power to do as you should!
{Romans 6:18, 22; Galatians 5:1; 1 Peter 2:16, 24}

God's grace did not appear to justify your disobedient faith; but to impute righteousness for your obedient faith.
~ Romans 6:1-4

God's grace "brings" salvation, as it "teaches" by means of the Bible (i.e., the WORD) ~ Titus 2:11-12
"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age..."

ALL MEN have had God's grace appear to them; however, if grace's APPEARANCE saves, then ALL MEN would be saved. However, we know such is NOT the case.
This grace instructs, by means of commands, which are to be OBEYED, by faith. If a man has faith in the command, the command will be OBEYED.
The commands that GRACE instructs are:
DENY UNGODLINESS
DENY WORLDLY DESIRES
LIVE SENSIBLY
LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY
LIVE GODLY

FREEDOM from sin was for this purpose; not to continue in sin that grace may abound.
- Become a servant "of righteousness" ~ Rom. 6:18
- The benefit: "sanctification"
- The outcome: "eternal life" ~ Rom. 6:22
- Stand firm; don't be subject again to a yoke of slavery ~ Gal. 5:1
- Do not use your freedom as a covering for evil ~ 1 Peter 2:16

"He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, SO THAT WE MIGHT DIE TO SIN AND LIVE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS..." ~ 1 Peter 2:24
