NOT MUCH WINE VERSUS A LITTLE WINE?

For those who seek to make 1 Tim. 5:23 a "proof text" to 'justify' social drinking; consider the absurdity when making the same application of other passages in the Bible:
Eccl. 7:17 says, “do not be OVERLY wicked... Does this mean then one could be 'A LITTLE' wicked?

[Compare, "MUCH WINE".]

Likewise, Prov.25:27, which states, “it is not good to eat TOO MUCH honey" is to be understood in context (see v. 16 up to verse 27)

Prov. 23:22 says, “do not despise thy mother WHEN SHE IS OLD”. Does this mean one can despise a mother when she is YOUNG OR MIDDLE AGED?

[Compare, "MUCH WINE".]

Romans 6:12 says “do not let sin reign in your mortal body." Can we let SOME in just as long as we don’t let it take over? [Compare, "MUCH WINE".]

Understanding the CONTEXT is absolutely essential to 'rightly dividing' the Bible.
