We read in Nehemiah 8:13 - "On the second day the heads of fathers' houses of all the people, with the priests and the Levites, came together to Ezra the scribe in order to study the words of the law."
Wonder what technique Ezra used to get the people to "come together"...a hot dog; a $5 bill; or did they know ahead of time WHY they would be assembling; did Ezra keep this a secret? Does it really take 'stomach' feeding first, then slip in a little 'soul' feeding?

Don't seek Jesus for the wrong reasons! SOME did!
John 6:26-27 - "Jesus answered them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of man will give to you'."
Isaiah 55:1-3 - “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live..."
Matthew 5:6 - “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."
John 7:17 - "If any man's will is to do His will; he shall know of the doctrine..."
